Clear CHIRP echo sounder STRIKER 4 includes a Garmin CHIRP transducer (77/200 kHz), which provides a level of clarity and detail of fish images and submerged structures visibly superior to traditional 77/200 kHz transducers.
Instead of sending only on a single frequency, the CHIRP transmits a continuous beam of frequencies, ranging from low to high frequencies and interprets them individually when they return. Since the frequencies provide a wide range of information, CHIRP sonar technology can create sharper fish arcs, with greater separation of targets.
It is also possible to carry out all types of upgrades to install on board even more performing Garmin CHIRP instruments, capable of providing crystal clear images and even better separation of targets in both shallow and deep water. "Hands down best budget fish finder i have ever used. I use it on a job boat and have no complaints. Very accurate in deep/shallow waters as far as i can tell. The amount of detail you can see on color fish finder vs black and white is AMAZING! GPS comes in handy for marking hot spots and marking the dock you used to get in the water so you don't get lost trying to get back. CHIRP is also a game changer. The two things ill never go without again is CHIRP and color! This is a great budget unit."
